Law Lecturer elected as Executive of the Society of Legal Scholars

John Tribe, the KPMG Lecturer in Restructuring at Kingston law School, has been elected to the Executive of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS). The SLS is the learned society for those who teach law in a university or similar institution or who are otherwise engaged in legal scholarship.

As of Spring 2009 the Society had over 3,100 members consisting of academic and practising lawyers in a wide variety of subject areas. The Society was founded in 1908 and has charitable status. It celebrates its centenary in 2009. The Executive Committee manages the affairs of the Society and consists of nine members.

John commences his three year term in October 2009.
