Kingston Town

The Kingston area

Kingston Town

Introduction to Kingston upon Thames

Kingston Upon Thames is a beautiful place to study, situated just outside central London but combining the wide open space of the countryside with the ample amenities of a major town. Kingston is situated next to the River Thames, and is a town steeped in history. One of only three Royal Boroughs, Kingston has a rich anglo-saxon history and is also located just across the river from Hampton Court Palace, home to Henry VIII.

The centre of the town is a shoppers' paradise with a vibrant shopping centre, plus there are plenty of top-quality cafes, wine bars, restaurants and pubs to relax in after a hard study session.

Our safe and green Kingston Hill campus is just outside of the main town centre, within easy walking distance of Richmond Royal Park; and with central London only 25 minutes away by train, you don’t have far to travel to access its world renowned thriving legal and cultural centre.

You can also find out more about Kingston via the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames website.
