Kingston Law School has been an established and growing centre of law teaching for almost 50 years. Our wide range of law degrees gives an excellent start for a career in law and in many other legal aspects of business as well as many other careers; in a friendly, productive and supportive law school.

We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across a variety of legal fields. Our range of courses caters for students looking to undertake a qualifying law degree, enhance skills within a certain legal field or study law as part of a combination with another subject. Additionally we also have an established Law PhD programme with dedicated facilities, lifelong learning opportunities and continuous professional development. Many of our courses are recognised by professional bodies, illustrating their quality and relevance in today’s world.

We have close links with many local and national law firms who sponsor various activities. Several members of the judiciary, together with leading legal practitioners, act as visiting professors, fellows and visitors to the School, enabling students to integrate into the wider legal community. The full-time staff include many legal scholars whose research and publications place them in the forefront of legal learning and whose legal teaching has led to an award of National Teaching Fellow.
